How to submit your work to Library24x7

In order to submit your work to Library24x7 please follow the guidelines below:

• Be sure that your work meets our ethical guidelines;
• Read carefully all provisions in the contract — please feel free to question or suggest changes in any topic;
• Read and follow the instructions in the Library24x7 Publishing Manual — our friendly staff is available to answer all questions;
• Sign the contract in two copies and mail it to us with your payment .

Author’s investment associated with publication

Being a partner and publishing a work with Library24x7 brings some responsibilities to an author. With Library24x7 publishing model, authors retain their rights to their work and, in exchange, they must believe and make the following investment:

1. Cover and back-cover design – We cannot emphasize enough how important is the appearance of the cover. Library24x7 makes available to authors, at no cost, a variety of professionally designed templates and instructions in how to make the cover. However, authors have the option to hire the professional designer of their choice for an exclusive design.
2. Content (galley) design – Library24x7 offers to every author a free publishing manual with complete instructions and suggestions in how to set up their work. Again, authors who prefer to hire the professional designer of their choice are welcome to do so.
3. Professional Editing/Proofreading – It is natural for an author to oversee a few grammatical errors, typos and other small mistakes in their work. In some cases, dialogs, sentence structure or simple wrong choices of word will arise. Library24x7 firmly considers that every manuscript should be read, critiqued, and edited by a professional other than the author. Authors can retain the professional service of their choice.
4. Encryption – Library24x7 uses a sophisticated proprietary process to protect every one of its published works. This security protection is mandatory and is the only service that must be performed by the Library24x7’s technical department. Authors will be charged a one-time low fee of $359.00 per work published, due upon acceptance and signing of the Publishing Agreement.

What is included in our publishing program

• You will be signing a 3 (three) years contract licensing to Library24x7 the non-exclusive rights to publish, distribute and commercialize your book;
• Your book will be published in the "paperback" format:
  • soft cover, 100# paper, laminated, full color with bleed;
  • galley with 24# paper, white or cream, printed in black and tones of grey;
  • book size 5.50" x 8.25";
  • perfectly bound.
• A choice of an eye catching, colorful template downloadable from our selection;
• Your book will be inserted in our virtual library and will be immediately available through our internet store, affiliate stores and subscription programs;
• Self-managed forum/blog and author's web page;
• Receive true 20% royalties on the gross sales generated by your book;
• Real-time access to your book usage and credits due;
• Option to participate in the Library24x7 Author Referral Program — it is free of charge and allows you to receive monetary referral compensation yet an Agreement must be signed;
• ISBN registration and bar code;
• Orientation in how to register your work in the Library of Congress;
• One free printed copy of your book;
• The right to purchase, at any time, printed copies of your work at the cost of production — please see our book calculator (in this case royalties will not apply).

What is NOT included in our publishing program

For Author's convenience, Library24x7 offers professional services resonably priced for:

• Manuscript editing
• Work revision;
• Custom design — for cover and galley;
• Translation to and from English, Portuguese, and Spanish; and
• Marketing materials.
